No more disposable cups!

I've officially banned disposable cups of any kind in my life. I now carry around my handy dandy Kleen Kanteen stainless steel water bottle and fill it up as needed. This is a huge thing for me, I was addicted to sugary drinks like soda & snapple and would buy at least one a day. I was filling myself up with sugar (or high fructose corn syrup) and filling the landfill with garbage. I'm proud to say that I've kicked my sugary drink habit as well as my disposable drink container habit :-)

I'll be using this blog to track our adventures in living a more eco-friendly life. I'll be:

~ Trying to eat more local, organic, free range, and fair trade food
~ Getting plastic out of our lives as much as possible
~ Creating as little garbage as possible
